There's a baby in the house......and it ain't the kids!

Tonight alone at the computer, the children asleep, the TV on behind me, the dogs and cats all curled up in quiet slumber, I sit.

Productive? No
Positive? No
Spoiled? Yes
Being a baby? Yes

I am very, VERY used to my dear knight-in-shinning armour being at home helping me keep the home fires burning, stable and peaceful. He is on a business trip for the week and I am not a happy camper, at all!

He'll only be gone 5 nights, I'll pick him up on Friday night...actually very early Saturday morning.

I'm such a baby.

Sorry you are having a hard time getting your rest without your hubby at home. I hope the week goes by quickly!

I know what you mean. With me, I often find that just at the point when I've been taking my husband for granted...he gets called off on business. It does wonders for my attitude of gratitude for him! I hope your time passes quickly by until he is back home.

God Bless,
Jane

This is so funny.....both my husband and I work at home. We are together 24/7. I can't wait for him to go somewhere so I can be alone.

How about I send him to keep you company when your hubby is gone? That way we'd both be happy:)

well, when my hubby was laid off for 15 months back in 2002-2003 it was a very fun filled time and joyous time for us. we have been together for 10 years, and when we are apart for even just his normal 8 hours he works per day, we both get cranky at times. not with each other! heck no! but we do get growly when we are apart. we are better together and not apart. frank and i don't like being apart at all. it feels weird when we are apart. like something is missing. every day 5 days a week as he goes to work, and yes he does like his job, we both frown. we don't like being separated at all for any time. we are very very close. we are not only husband and wife, but we are super best friends too. we have everything in common. our faith, our love of God, our friends, music, food, you name it.
