As the end of another year

has come and gone, new hopes, dreams, and goals are anticipated.

Some of the things that I have been thinking about for 2009 seem lofty and rose-colored tainted, but still hopeful.

For the world:
That world leaders' hearts soften, turning their eyes on the children of their society and realizing that they need to be a better example for them.

That peaceful negotiations between rivals become the norm in sorting out differences between countries and cultures.

That all societies will finally realize that what is to be protected is not the gold and treasures of material things, but humanity seen in the very basic form of the family.

That Child pornography will stop. For the children of our world to no longer be subject to kidnapping, slavery, abuse, and/or sold in any way.

That life will be precious to all societies in all forms.

For America:

That corruption and the corrupted no longer be tolerated at all! That those who choose to be the people's representative be just that, the representation of the people in our towns, cities, counties, states, and nation. We are not a corrupted people and we don't want that representing us!

That those in our communities that choose to have children, be ready to be responsible parents.

That children and childhood be at the utmost top of the priority list for all. Not to spoil them, but to respect them, nurture them, properly teach them, and protect them.

For the pillarclimber:
That prayer and meditation on the Word be the top of the list.

Being organized and productive in my scheduling, especially with my new role as madame prez of the Republican Women of my county.

That I send more notes, letters, and cards.
