My husband and I took our little family to Raleigh several months ago to see the exhibit, "The Dead Sea Scrolls." Totally amazing!
Just before leaving the exhibit, there was this quote up on the wall. I read it and then read it again, kind of understood it, but wanted more time to study it, so I copied it down.
"The art of reading requires that you develop a beautiful tolerance for incomprehension. The greatest books are the books that you come to understand more deeply with time, with age, and with rereading."
