What would happen if everyone joined their local GOP chapter and attended the meetings, making suggestions, taking an active part in the planning of how their local, state, as well as their nation's political atmosphere goes? What if everyone who is bitter about the election outcome turned this bitterness and anger into productive and USEFUL energy to make a difference?
Believing that there are good and honest people just waiting to be represented and rallied behind for the good of our nation is what the lesson is here, I think. Sarah and Todd Palin are just one example of what I am talking about. If there is a Sarah Palin, then there are others that want to join her and we need to all roll up our sleeves, get to these meetings, change the face of the membership of these GOP organizations and, in great numbers, we can change our country's direction!
We deserve a good, fair, honest country. After all, we are raising the next generation and they deserve it more.
