There once was a Man, who is now with Jesus

Who toiled the soil, and fought the good fight. Who was and is loved so dear and completely. 'Sorely missed' cannot completely explain the void he leaves behind.

Wisdom
3:1-9

But the souls of the righteous are in the
hand of God,
and no torment will ever touch them.

In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to
have died,
and their departure was thought to be an
affliction,
and their going from us to be their
destruction;
but they are at peace.

For though in the sight of men they were
punished,
their hope is full of immortality.

Having been disciplined a little, they will
receive great good,
because God tested them and found them
worthy of Himself;
like gold in the furnace he tried them,
and like a sacrificial burnt offering he
accepted them.

In the time of their visitation they will
shine forth,
and will run like sparks through the
stubble.

They will govern nations and rule over
peoples,
and the Lord will reign over them for ever.

Those who trust in him will understand
truth,
and the faithful will abide with him in
love,
because grace and mercy are upon his
elect,
and He watches over his holy ones.

We love you pawpaw, you dear and gentle spirit!
May God have you in His hands tonight.

Love,
Ebeth

NOTE: Thank you for all my dear friends for your prayers. Please pray for safe travels and peace for the week to come. God Bless you, one and all

You are blessed to now have a special "angel" in heaven watching over you. You asked about a special holy card....all I can suggest is that you go back in the archives to find what you might think is the most appropriate...then just copy it for your own purposes. Our prayers are with you all. Hugs,

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers, we truly felt them on the trip and during the week.

Houston roadways never stop and it was interesting as I drove out this morning and had to tell myself, "You are not in Houston, you are NOT in Houston, you can slow down!"

Please continue your prayers as we are now in the process of moving my MIL here to be closer to family.

Hugs and thanksgiving,
Ebeth
