We usually watched something on DVD. Primetime TV is very sinful.

Marilena said you were having a problem getting into my blog Ebeth. I clicked on the link in your sidebar and noticed that the address is wrong.

This is the address that you have:

http://aussiecoffeeshop.blogspot.com/http://

correct address is:

http://aussiecoffeeshop.blogspot.com

You need to get rid of the /http:// that is after dot com. Hopefully then you will be able to get onto my blog. I hope that helps you.

So true. We have the History Channel and Discovery so the shows are not a complete loss but you still have to sit through those commercials! Some of them are so personal and awful and terribly embarrassing to watch with my children in the room. Is there no escape?

Ebeth said...

Jaimie, I think the only escape is to PBS or no TV at all. Now with that said, we do not have cable due to my fear that we would find a new past time. eek! Also, who needs all that tv?!

We need to stop watching tv all together and watch carefully the ads that are attached to specific programming and quit buying from them....

THanks for stopping by!

Hi Esther! Told my Bible buffet group about your blog today, they think it's neat that I have a friend in Hawaii!

We are getting choosier and choosier about what we watch.
I've begun reading to the older children in the evenings again. I quite like that really-but there are times when I wish I could just sit back and chill in front of the TV.
Having said that we've just watched Nigella Bites-I do like some cookery programmes. Watching comfort food can be quite comforting in itself.
